After years of working as an apprentice to a Clinical Aromatherapist, I began to experiment with my own recipes. These were products I wanted for myself, that lived up to my high standards, but I could never seem to find anywhere:
A natural deodorant that really works and doesn’t cause irritation. Chemical and propellant free “dry shampoo” that’s comes in all hair colors (even sparkly!). Natural soaps that don’t contain artificial scents or ingredients derived from animals. And delicious lip balms and tints that don't come in a plastic tube!
At first I kept what I made, then I started gifting friends and family my products, and that’s when I realized that I wasn’t the only one who was looking for these. That is how Gibbous Moon Naturals began.
Since the beginning, I have only used the highest grade natural and organic ingredients in all of my recipes. I’m a big believer in buying fair trade ingredients when available, as well as never using preservatives or artificial fragrance oils in any of my body products. All of my candles are vegan and made with natural soy wax. And no ingredients I buy have EVER been tested on animals. 
Something you’ll notice right away is my disdain for single use plastics. All Gibbous Moon products are packaged without plastic in either reusable glass, tins, or biodegradable cardboard. I also only use recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable materials in shipping.
