I’ve been making whipped body butter for years now, and as much as I love it, it’s so finicky in the hot weather. I’ve watch how other makers discontinue making and shipping their natural lotions every summer because they’re afraid of them melting in the heat, and this year, for the first time, I had to do the same. That being said, we all still need a good, natural moisturizer, I didn’t want to leave you high and dry! So I took the same beloved scent combinations that I use in my whipped body butter and blended them with Northern California produced beeswax, organic Kokum Butter (think cocoa butter but a little harder) and organic coconut oil, and created a super luxurious solid lotion bar! I even put them in the same matte black tins as the body butter to really help with the separation anxiety we all go through when our go-to products get changed up on us!
So, you might be asking, “what is a solid lotion bar and how do I use it?” A solid lotion bar has all the same rich emollients as a normal creamy lotion, but you just take the bar out of the tin, rub it on your hands and body and then you’re set to go! You can keep it in your bag, take it camping and just keep it on your bathroom counter!
My Tangerine Honey scent is a gentle, sweet and fresh scent, composed of tangerine essential oil, natural American collected and made honey oil, and natural vanilla essential oil.
My solid lotion bars have very minimal ingredients and I only use the highest grade buttes, oils, waxes and essential oils.
These lotion bars are a large 3oz and will probably last you 3-4x as long as the whipped body butters would.
As with all GMN products, my solid lotion bars are packaged and shipped without plastic.

Is your shipping material plastic free?
I use plastic-free recycled paper mailers, or cardboard boxes for my exterior packaging. All interior packaging is paper, or in the case of glass containers, re-used bubble wrap.
Do you offer wholesale ordering?
Yes! If you’re interested in carrying GMN in your shop, please feel free to message me. Minimum first order is $300 and all subsequent orders are $200 minimum.
What are the shelf life of your products?
Every product is different, because I do not use any preservatives, they range from 6 months to 3 years. Feel free to message me for specific product info.
Do you offer custom or personalized orders?
Yes! If you’re interested in a product I offer, but can’t tolerate a specific ingredient for any reason, message me and we’ll come up with a substitution that will work for you.
When will my package ship?
Each item has an estimated production time listed, usually 2-5 business days. I most commonly ship items within 2-3 business days, but if I need to make your item to order, it may take up to 5 business days. I ship my packages with either USPS First Class Mail or Priority Mail, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. You will receive a tracking number when your package has been mailed.

Absolutely in love with these lotion bars! I also used the Ginger and Cardamom one, and similarly this one left my skin incredibly soft, and the scent is so beautiful. It keeps my skin hydrated well into the next day and the scent lingers for a while (at least during the day when I use it). I have very sensitive skin so was so happy to find that these did not cause any irritation at all. I love both scents and will continue purchasing for sure!

I am a lotion fanatic and never tried lotion bars till these and LOVE THEM. I just hold the bar for a few seconds and let it warm up and then “pat off” the amount I want. They have a wonderful “buildable” quality, so you can have just a light amount up to a “mask” level. Most surprising/delightful is how much less greasy/transferable they are than shea butter lotions, which I adore but rarely slow down enough to use practically since I end up getting shea butter all over everything. I can’t buy just one scent of anything from Gibbous Moon so when these amazing lotion bars came out I bought Rose Vanilla, Ginger Cardamom, and Tangerine Honey. Every time I use one of them, it’s my “favorite scent,” so suffice to say they’re all spectacular, you just get to choose based on your mood 🌹🫚🍊🍯tangerine smells soo buttery it’s like dessert
